The Desert's Abandonment
The night's lustre!The wind's rapture!
The ocean emanates sorrow.
Oh, no! But Oh yes!
Reject nothing, embrace all
It is as though
Eternity dwells on barren delight.
And yea!
The sun lingers in steaming knowledge.
Might not Heaven hold meetings
On her frozen dew drops?
Aha!
Sense the delights of hearts afloat
Notice the engagement of minds in motion
Alas, no end exists
For a beginning never was
Neither can life perish or fade
And, forever is but a dream.
