Dear Mother God,
I know I’m here for a reason and I just need the tools and support to take me to the next level.
I am an unstoppable leader and I know I can do it.
I am worthy and I deserve to make millions sharing my unique gift with the world.
Yes I admit I am afraid of trusting humans, I have doubts about them. I don't know whether my fears and doubts are justified, they probably are, but I do know I want to be a millionaire without feeling guilty, ashamed, unworthy, afraid, frustrated, confused, bewildered, doubtful or any of those negative experiences. I ask myself this:-
'What if i never had the capacity within me to criticise anything about reality?' would I not be completely free? so I am willing to give up my need to experience these limiting emotions. What if I relinquished my belief that anything that has ever happened was wrong. I give thanks for this insight.
Peace

'Are You Wasting God's Time?'
What are you doing right at this moment? Just stop and think about it.
Well obviously..... you are reading this article. ((LOL)) But are you doing anything else at the same time, or simultaneously? For example... are you....alone or with company? Are you, at home, at work, in a library, an internet cafe, a pub, a church building, a college, on a train etc....where are you? What activity are you engaged in? Are you talking to someone, reading quietly or out loud, typing or taking notes? If you are with company, what kind of people are around you? If you are engaged in conversation, what are you talking about? Make careful consideration as to whether, the activity with which you are engaged, at this very moment (no matter how big or small), is of value, is worthwhile, constructive or appropriate? More importantly, is this activity loving? joyful? educational or peaceful? Whom or what does it serve? Does it add-to, or diminish, the quality of life, for yourself or others? Whom or what would benefit from it now or in the future, how and why?
Time is a most precious and valuable asset. Consider for a moment, the many souls whose lives on earth have just ended, this very instant, as we speak. They have left their bodies, their communities, their closest and dearest, their homes, jobs, families, friends, colleagues, pets, admirers, enemies, hobbies, pastimes, material belongings. They have simply died, having taken their last breath amongst us for this lifetime, never to be seen or heard from, in the same way ever again. Not even the banking system, the persistent debt collectors, or credit card bailiffs, can ever get another payment out of them, no matter what they have owed.
It's now finished! Over!
Life is indeed short my dear friend. Not so long ago, you were but a little embryo in the womb and then a child barely learning to walk, and just starting kindergarten. Now as an adult, you look back in amazement, wondering how all that time has passed. Isn't it amazing how quickly a lifetime goes by, and before you know it you are 65 years of age, and being referred to as an OAP, even though inside you don't feel a day older than 21 years of age!! But whatever your age right now, it's important that you stop a moment, to assess what exactly you are doing with the time you have now, and more importantly what you intend to do with the rest of it in the future. Is your time really yours?
The past is over and gone. Perhaps you have done incredibly well up till now, or maybe you've messed up big time so far. Probably many will find themselves somewhere in the middle, along that spectrum. The fact is, one way or another, you have made it to this very moment in time, and you are HERE, right now and present. YOU... are still breathing, and I assume still capable, of conscious thought and emotional responses. You are here, creating your future experiences with whatever it is that you are doing right now. Lets repeat that statement. Whatever you are engaged with right now,( in thought, emotion, passion, word or deed), is actively generating your future, and the day will come when you will experience your last breath here on earth, and will cease to exist, in that body of yours. At that time, it is YOU, and only you who will be accountable then, (as you are now), for how you used your time.
So at this present moment, do the thoughts you are thinking, the words you are saying, the actions you are taking, benefit you and/or others, in any way, or do they cause harm? Those daily activities and habits that we often take for granted, all add up. Even simple things like doing the washing up, smiling at the neighbor across the road, turning up to an important appointment on time, keeping that promise you made, sending that get well card to cheer someone up 'who is recovering from an illness, answering a client's questions patiently over the phone, telling someone only the truth about a product or service you are selling, giving extra care and attention to the newcomer who is having difficulty settling in, counting to 10 rather than making that hurtful remark, suspending blame or judgement towards another, refusing to participate in backstabbing or gossip mongering, saying sorry when a mistake has been made and making amends for it, paying someone a well deserved compliment, forgiving an indiscretion, etc...etc..etc....Whichever activity you may be engaged in right now, the point is this; how much, and to whom will it matter in 8 months, 8 years or even 80 years time? If the actions of the present are what generate the experiences of the future, then it is important enough that you have a satisfactory answer to the following questions....
What are you doing with your time right now? What are you presently focussed on, and how valuable is it? Is there anything you are not saying or not doing, which you could be saying or doing, that would be of benefit? And is there anything you are saying or doing right now, that you need not be, because it is harmful, a waste of time, or of very little importance or value? Finally the most important question of all, how much will this activity you are engaged in now matter, and will it count for anything, when you are dead?

'Great Quotes'
Favourite Quote no1*
'There's a lot of skeletons in my closet, but I know what they are wearing. I'm not gonna act all ashamed of it'
-Naomi Watts
Rev.Bola's commentary
Do we still have things from our past that we keep revisiting? Old, tired, worn out ideas, mistakes, memories that haunt us? Well we also have the freedom to let go off them. When we recognise that part of the purpose of life on earth, is to learn by our mistakes; then we are able to exercise our forgiveness of the past, and to also be grateful, that we actually made it to be where we are today. The past was never meant to hold us back, or keep us in bondage. Let us be set free today by letting go of the past, and living our lives fully in the present moment, as much as possible. Our present situations really do need our undivided attention.

Favourite Quote no2*
'There is no ''fix'' that's good enough for everyone. Do you know what feeds your spirit?'
-Anne Wilson Schaef
Rev.Bola's commentary
We really are individuals, and often require very different things to others. We can let ourselves be who we are and allow others that freedom also. One man's tastes may be very different to another's, that does not mean that either of them is in the wrong. It is vital that we keep our discernment of what is right or wrong for us, and yet refrain from passing judgement on others, concerning what they believe is right for them.

Favourite Quote no3*
'Sometimes the big picture just looks too big, We need to break down our tasks into little pieces and do one step at a time. Who can take two steps at a time anyway?
-Anne Wilson Schaef
Rev.Bola's commentary
I learnt something very valuable from the 12 step recovery movement, started by Alcoholics Anonymous. Though I am not, and have never been an alcoholic, I indeed have suffered, from the harmful effects of another's alcoholism and other addictive behaviours, and I have also myself been in recovery from co-dependency. One principle that really enhanced my spiritual recovery, was the reality that no task or achievement is too great, when it is broken down into manageable portions. The premise being to tackle and focus on just one little bit at a time.
Giving up cigarette smoking was one of the toughest addictions I ever had to overcome. I managed it quite successfully however, by applying the simple principle of a little bit at a time, one day at a time. This really is a miraculous principle equally as powerful as that of the Secret or The Law of Attraction. If you don't believe me, just watch ants at work creating an ant hill; and if you still are of the mistaken belief, that little things don't matter, consider the mosquito! I have had the good fortune of spending some time in Africa, in areas where mosquitoes are rampant, and malaria fever is a regular part of life. So I have personal experience of exactly what a mosquito can accomplish, and what a bite from a mosquito can create.

'Hopeful Sadness'
He spoke
not well
his
skies
they were
ashen and sober
Yet still
he stood
close by my side
hoping
That through
the broad earth's
aching breast
An angel
would appear
to come and
take him
home.

'Basic Intentions'
Love is so important. Joy is important also. Time is flying by. We all want to be happy. We want to enjoy life. We have noble aspirations. We want to give. We want to receive.

Freedom From 'Enabling' Sin
'Liberation': Visual Talismans and Prayer-Art by Rev.Bola A.
Holy Spirit,
I received a liberating message from you today. I now recognize that in the past, I have been an 'enabler'. By this I mean that I have sort to get love, attention, respect and approval from others people, by enabling their unhealthy habits and attachments. I assumed in my ignorance of truth, that if I supported people in meeting their goals that they would appreciate me more.
Back then I never made the clear distinction between people's higher will goals and their lower will goals, and unfortunately as many of the people I was associated with were neither 'born again' or 'fully awakened' to their higher wills, I usually ended up as, an enabler to their lower will (otherwise known as the ego). Now I understand why many of these relationships were problematic and did not work out in the long run. In my ignorance, I have enabled alcoholics to consume more alcohol, addicts to continue abusing drugs, shop-aholics to continue spending money on things they don't need to buy. I have enabled sex addicts to continue abusing sex, relationship addicts to continue abusing relationships, and so on. I have learned sometimes the hard and painful way, that you don't get more love and appreciation from aiding addictions, or being 'good and obedient' with the devil in any way, shape or form. In fact you get the complete reverse. More stress, more pressure, more negativity, more pain.
Holy Spirit, this has been a liberating realization for me, as I definitely do not want to have the role of 'enabler' of sin, in anyone's life; least of all in the lives of people I profess to care about most like my family, my community, and my friends.
I thank you that I am today a new person in Christ Jesus. I am born again, and by your Grace I am now wiser. Thank you for healing me from the need to get attention, and approval by enabling people with their bad habits. Thank you for taking the burden of that oppression from my shoulders. I am grateful that with your help and grace is is o much easier for me now, to say 'no' to such things; and to do it knowing without any doubt that I am doing the best thing for people, when I say no to enabling their bad habits. That is the true power of love, the power of your love.... of the love of Christ and I am so very grateful that this is so now.

Title: 'Thoughts Are Things'
Visual Talisman by Rev.Bola (23Sep'09 - ARR)
Invest in your ability to produce good thoughts.
Did you know that thoughts are 'things', and they actually create other things? What I am saying here is that thoughts are considered to be intangible but they actually create tangible things. More accurately, our thoughts with our emotions, together like magic, create our physical reality. In short the tangible world we see around us, has been created from the intangible world of our thoughts and ideas. Everything you have and see around you was created from a thought or idea in someone's mind. Following on from this therefore, we can deduct that the quality of our physical experience, is an exact result of the quality of our thoughts and emotions. High quality experiences therefore, are derived from high quality thoughts and feelings. An awareness of this indicates that it is a good idea, to invest in those things which aid our ability to produce good quality thoughts. This we can do by reading inspiring literature. By this I mean literature of a high vibrational frequency. We want to listen to high quality music, feed our eyes on high quality images, spend our time with people, and in environments that send out, and feed us with good quality ideas. Since what we focus on the most becomes true for us, it is important to put our focus on ideas, thoughts, emotions and vibrations that are of the highest quality. If for instance we read newspapers or magazines that constantly feed us with bad news, fear, hatred, insecurity, soon enough we are going to start manifesting that corresponding reality as experience. If we continuously feast our eyes on gruesome images of killing, rape, suffering, violence, and distrust, that also will be our corresponding experience. We need to question what the intention is behind those who would expose ourselves to regular doses of such low frequency vibrations. What purpose does this serve?
If we look closely we will notice that those who engage themselves with positive uplifting literature like that, which can be found in the bible for instance, tend to generate correspondingly positive experiences of life around them. Children who are fed with positive messages by their parents and carers, tend to grow up with high self esteem and positive self images, whilst abused children, tend to grow up with low self esteem, and self destructive habits. In computer terms this has been described as 'garbage in equals garbage out'.
If we want to experience paradise, joy, happiness, peace, beauty, harmony, love, grace, prosperity, good health and all such wonders, then it is totally necessary that we invest time and energy in our ability to produce good thoughts. We can write affirmations, state our goals in the affirmative. We can visualize positive outcomes, spend time with people with similar aspirations, receive encouragement and wisdom from role models. In this way a sort of snowball effect is created. We can engage ourselves most of the time with those activities that raise our vibrations; uplifting music, warm hugs, massages, sport and exercise, dancing, eating nutritious tasty meals, spending time in nature, relaxing, meditating, praying and various devotional activities, we can watch a good piece of theater or movie, listen to poetry, visit an art exhibition, create a piece of art ourselves, do some community work, or voluntary work perhaps to help someone else, or someone less fortunate. We can engage in random acts of kindness and generosity, enjoy pleasant aromas, go on an amusement park ride, luxuriate in a spa or sauna, enjoy a mud bath, swim with dolphins, go scuba diving, go horse riding, sailing, skiing, gardening, fly a plane, skateboarding, salsa dancing, cooking, knitting, and all manner of craft making. There are so many activities we can invest in to help us produce good thoughts. Some activities are common to all people, while different activities suit different people. A great idea is to make a list of the things that propel good thoughts in you, and invest in doing them regularly. Also make a note of the things that lower your vibrations, and stay clear of them, being certain to maintain the right balance for you. There is a great difference between a little indulgence to generate good thoughts, and an obsession or addiction, which creates the opposite effect. Love yourself enough to find out what works best for you, and invest in those things, by building them up one day at a time. Know that you really are worth the investment.
