Title: *SPLENDOUR*

*SPLENDOUR*

The
singing
autumn morning
vibrates expertly
strutting with red vanity
and groaning with love.
Whilst rural summer whispers
in shades of red,
and night strikes in splendour.
A
cloud paints yellow ochre layers ,
reflections dance across still waters
and clouds billow like giant sails
across a thunderous sky.

Wave soft and awkward,
Ascending by the sunrise;
Leaping, young valley.
The open thrush sleeps
When potent caverns regret.
Does the lost stream fade?

'Wildflower Tropics'
 *********
Sweet, open, fragrant,
A maid sings.
Tanto whispers,
Lingering, flowing.
The low pool striving;
It is the fragrant sunrise.
Arising, I crave

Title: 'UNUSUAL CHARACTERS'

Name:  Charlee Anakin Marv

This character has a face lined with experience. Their favourite role models were hairdressers. They were brought up in a style their parents couldn't truly afford and worked in an office. They have a secretive nature. They married in haste. Now they haunt the corridors of the government offices.

Name:  Lynelle Brandie Mitch

This character is a real goody-two shoes. They have a guilty secret. They were brought up in a rich neighbourhood. When they ran away from home they bought and sold used military equipment. They divorced after being caught cheating. When they were arrested for drug trafficking they nursed a sick child.

Title: 'HE WAS HERE'

Waiting alone in the frost-blue frock he had so often praised, with the sweet orchard smell wafting in from outside, the twice-jilted Juliet thought once more of Long John, the mysterious stranger with the large dog. He was now, according to Countess Genevieve, in the clutches of Cesar Marquez and his gang of cutthroats.
Then came an eerie chill of premonition, and she realized, in a single instant, what was now to happen. He was here! “I couldn’t stay away, sweetheart!” he stammered, pressing his lips to hers, and as it dawned on her that her days of loneliness were over, she wordlessly let her body melt against his own.

'Love Cheese'

Darling sweet, sweet friend ,
I need to tell you without end
You are the wind in the trees
Sweet bird on wing.
Exhiliration in the breeze
You wonderful being
I often feel like
A puppy with two tails
I love your hills
and I adore your dales.
I long to transport you
Into my love nest.
That in my passion
I might encourage the best
And when we
Reach our destination
Loving one another
In our liberation
I shall cherish you forever
My getting to know you
Was rather clever..
I enjoy stroking your hair.
It's a breath of fresh air
How I admire your eyes -
So warm, sharp and wise
They twinkle like diamonds.
Two luminous ponds.
I cherish our time together,
Let's just love each other forever.
.
Your darling,
Bola

Title: *All About Wisdom*

Title:*WISDOM* /Oils - Visual Prayer Art from Set by Rev.Bola

Wisdom is....
 n.  sagacity, sageness, sapience, penetration, perceptiveness, discernment; sound judgment, clear thinking, clearheadedness, common sense, rationality; understanding, intelligence, brains, Inf. gray matter, Sl. smarts; judiciousness, judgment, perspicacity, perspicaciousness, acumen; reason, sense, Inf. horse sense, astuteness, perspicuity; intellectuality, prescience, depth, reach of thought, wit, mother wit; shrewdness, foresight, providence, prudence. Wisdom is learning, erudition, knowledge, enlightenment; scholarship, education, attainment.

Wisdom is...
A reason to endure fearlessly
Without feeling and logic
Perhaps eternal but also fiery
Perpetually relentless
Never dashed.

The proof to bear unabashed
Through soul and questioning
Undyingly supreme yet fierce
Unboundedly strong
Never humbled.
.
Wisdom is the ability to discern or judge what is true, right, or lasting insight.
It is common sense and good judgment: the ability or result of an ability to think and act utilizing knowledge, experience, understanding, common sense, and insight; accumulated knowledge, erudition, or enlightenment
Synonyms for Wisdom include: caution, discernment, insight, or perception.

Wisdom is...
An excuse to suffer dashingly
Despite intellect and prudence
Constantly heavenly as if frightening
Timelessly passionate
Never doomed.

The wisdom to live bravely
Wanting sanity and love
Unboundedly divine and sometimes furious
Constantly stormy.
Never supressed.

Wisdom has, in the Western tradition, been listed as one of four cardinal virtues.
Wisdom is also significant within Christianity. As a virtue it is a manner or propensity to execute the right action under given circumstances. This implies a possession or seeking of knowledge of the given circumstances. This involves a comprehension of people, things, events and situations, and the willingness and the capability to apply perceptions, judgments and actions in keeping with an discernment of what is the right course of actions.

Wisdom is...
A force to take passionately
Past thought and wit
Perpetually beautiful perhaps bold
Ceaselessly powerful
Never defeated

A sense to breathe daringly
Free of reach and judgement
Never perfect as well as awful
For ever primitive
Never restrained.

It often requires control of one's emotional reactions (the "passions") so that universal principles, values, reason and knowledge prevail to shape one's actions. In brief, wisdom is a disposition to find the truth coupled with an optimum judgement as to right actions. Paul the Apostle, in his first letter to the Corinthians, argued that there is both worldly and divine wisdom, urging Christians to imitate the latter. Prudence, which is intimately related to wisdom, became one of the four cardinal virtues of Catholicism. The Christian philosopher Thomas Aquinas considered wisdom to be the "father" (i.e. the cause, measure, and form) of all virtues.

Wisdom is...
The argument to accept boldly
Free from soundness and defence
Ceaselessly mystical and brutal
Eternally raging
Never crushed.

A wit to stand courageously
Beyond spirit and debate
Timelessly infinite but ultimately intense
Undyingly raving
Never overcome.

Nicholas Maxwell, a contemporary philosopher in the United Kingdom, advocates that academia ought to change its focus from the acquisition of knowledge to seeking and promoting wisdom, which he defines as the capacity to realize what is of worth in life, for oneself and others. He teaches that modern knowledge and technological know-how advance our dominion to act which, without wisdom, may cause human pain and death as well as human benefit. Wisdom is the application of knowledge to attain a positive goal by receiving direction in governing oneself.

Wisdom is...
An excuse to suffer dashingly
Wanting sanity and love
Unboundedly divine and sometimes furious
Timelessly passionate
Never crushed.

A reason to endure fearlessly
Without feeling and logic
Never perfect as well as awful
Constantly stormy
Never doomed..

Intelligence—if only anyone could figure out precisely what it is—may be essential for wisdom, but it definitely isn't enough; an ability to see the big picture, a sense of proportion, and noteworthy self-reflection also contribute to its unfolding. Wise people commonly share an optimism that life's problems can be solved and exercise a certain amount of serenity in facing arduous decisions.

Constantly heavenly as if frightening
For ever primitive
Never defeated.

The wisdom to live bravely
Free of reach and judgement
Perhaps eternal but also fiery
Perpetually relentless

Wisdom It can be difficult to explain Wisdom, but people generally recognize it when they encounter it. Psychologists pretty much agree it involves an integration of knowledge, experience, and deep perception that embodied tolerance for the uncertainties of life as well as its ups and downs. There's a knowingness of how things play out over time, and it confers a sense of equilibrium.

Wisdom is...

Intelligence—if only anyone could figure out exactly what it is—may be necessary for wisdom, but it definitely isn't sufficient; an ability to see the big picture, a sense of proportion, and considerable introspection also contribute to its development.

Title:'To Be Prepared is To Be Careful'

Title: 'BE CAREFUL' /Tex  -  Prayer Art by Rev.Bola

'To Be Prepared is To Be Careful'

Joy was hunted,
But it wasn't found.
Honking like a goose
Whose situation had merely fallen
Upon shaky ground,
To questionable motives.

She beat down
Upon her silver-tip;
Until it resembled
A smashed up sandwich
Picked out of a skip.

She was teleporting herself
She had no choice
She was really really high,

She could still raise her voice.
She became the jolly driver
Of her own unrepressed Ferrari.

How easily though
Did that dream come apart,
Much like a broken frame
It came tumbling down--
Principally void, of any acclaim.

'Express Unholiness'

Boastful party vexes unholily,
aggressive chivalry envelops suggestively,
ignominious broadcast exhales completely,
dingy vessel smotes languidly
Lingering degeneration defers angrily,
vestigal party nourishes dryly,
baleful degeneration crashes finally,
gray corduroy nags dimly,
soundless courtesan stoops abruptly,
agnostic vein defies thinly,
drunken chivalry shrieks perfunctorily,
tribal strumpet boils thinly,
vibrant agitation stoops awfully,
vivacious party brandishes uncomfortably,
gray degeneration corrupts irritably,
narcissistic rider smotes suggestively,
upright entry craves completely,
ignominious battle-axe burns weirdly
uniform rebel defers balmily,
and plastic counterfeit sighs needily

Title: 'He Loves You'

Title: 'HE LOVES YOU' /OilPast   - Art by Rev.Bola

'He Loves You'

He just ran out
of his lucky day
although he
used to be free.

So now
that he can fly
once more
he'd be insane
to ever let that dirty game
recapture him.

He walks,
because you were
there to
hug him again.

Although torn,
he would still love you so.

Even when some
don't show it,
Rather they prefer to
do some no-no.
they litter and pollute.
they don't even care.

Well he'll show them,
Mother nature
how they dare,
And all should be
Fine again.

Title: 'That Red Head of Madness'

'That Red Head of Madness'

Though the wall clips
And you adore,
That you should explore,
With a machiavellian heart,
Rather, you should dart.
Do not seduce with
Such brave badness,
That red head of madness.

Title: 'REFLECTIVE LAUGHTER' /CPenc - Art by Rev.Bola A
 'Reflective Laughter'

Reflective Laughter
Exquisite laughter!
Heaven sings with purple rapture.
The desert weeps of lonesome ecstasy.
Might not the sun regard the agony
Of it's hopeful resurrection?

The ocean's dew drops!
 Help! Alas!
A red rose lingers in steaming water.
Then comes freedom.

Title: *A FUN RHYME*

Title: 'ACCEPTANCE'/Tx8 - Visual Prayer Art from Set by Rev.Bola A (Mar.13)
'Untitled'

Sugar flower, black velvet
The manatee utters,
A regretful "eep" .

Funny clowns,
Bunch of balloons
What they really want,
Is to go to sleep.

Impenetrable misty-rose
The bubbles pop
And they are sad

So, they'll stand there
Striking a pose,
To say it's really
Not all that bad.

Sugar flower, black velvet
Of barks and
Stems that water.

Things are not always
As they appear,
Must keep young minds
Out of the gutter.

Nutty pink,
The jelly glistens
Like fresh milked cream

To lick, with fingers
That do not sink
Too deep,
To taste,
Perchance the dream.

Title: 'SOLITUDE'

Title: 'SOLITUDE' - Visual Prayer Art by Rev.Bola A.
'Solitude'

Swimming in the freshness of my solitude
But no one ever is to blame.
swimming in the freshness of my solitude
to live only by those who bear his name.

Title: 'WAITING' - Artwork by Rev.Bola A

'Waiting Alone'

Waiting alone in the humble comfort of old Ben’s hovel, with the smell of new-cut grass wafting in from outside, Belinda, even lovelier — if possible — in her grief, thought once more of Edwin, the ‘hooded visitor’ in her recurring dream. He was now, according to his scheming partner, Reg, starring in yet another film with Katrina Contraire.
Then came a knock at the door, and she whirled around. He was here! “I couldn’t stay away, honey bun!” he husked, tilting her oval face up to meet his lips, and as it dawned on her that her days of loneliness were over, she woke up. Incredibly enough, it had all been a dream.

Title: 'MARCH HAIKUS' - Art by Rev.Bola A

'March Haikus'

1.
 Not soft, not lucky,
A maid comes to the river.
The sweet sunrise awaits.

2.

Dancing rains listen
dreaming of forgotten loves,
the summer moon wanes.

 3.

In our happy hearts
await the cries of nature,
continuing life.

Title: 'NATURE' - Visual Prayer Art by Rev.Bola A.

 Nature Poetry

The shifting hurricane jabs wildly

jutting in sequined dismay

and gusting with glee.

And autumn cries

in the mist,

and nature blows with symphonic splendour.

Autumn sparkles in yellow patches ,

hiding, dodging, playful

as night falls.

Title: 'SEA GREEN' - Visual Prayer Art by Rev.Bola A.

'As The Green of The Sea'

  Sharply spinning
Around the fog
We weave desirous thoughts
In their high towers
Awaken!
The Fool is vanishing
In the green light of sea
Eating and humming
Like cats in the night
Alas, with no lack!
The twilight grows strong
As the green of the sea
They converse with misty moon rays
beyond the sublime
Alas! The wise will not
Grow wary, but stay hopeful
  Over the horizon
with a backward glance
In whose eyes
the victor
stands for a while
where he knew no-one.

Title: 'ABLE'

Title: 'ABLE' 2/9.F.Oil  -  Visual Prayer Art by Rev.Bola A. ( Mar'13)
‘ABLE’

Definitely able

Having the necessary power

For each beloved hour

Skill, resources, qualifications,

Knowing exalted stations.

Qualified and stable

Definitely able

To lift a two-hundred-pound weight.

Always remembering the date.

Able to write music;

Able to travel widely

Able to sing loudly

Whilst also able to mate.

For men in thee

A thousand options wait

Having unusual skill

Not lost in unconquered will,

An able leader showing talent still

Able to teach, right speech

Legally empowered

Never a coward,

Qualified, authorized, energized,

Un- soured.

'Put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our struggle is not against enemies of blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.'
