Title: 'The Emptiness'

verse 1

Soar, wake.
With sharp seas
Command, arise.
With ill hands jump, swim.
Returning below the gnarled path,
as the even forest weeps,
She dives and the sky walks.
She is swimming in her own despair
wrenching, splattering.
Black roses are strewn on her path.
While she dreams on, the wicked night,
the blade slices into her deeply.
There is no life for her now, only death.
Could she find a lonelier place to be?
Uncaring, she is fallen,
and will never rise.
From her heart, endless loneliness.

Refrain: Oh! But the emptiness, yet.

verse 2

All poison,
beneath the tomb, they extort.
Splintering tentacles,
around trees, take cover!
The sin keeps on coming
evil and bright, over the gods.
She dusts glistening wraiths
around the dream.
Atone! The King shall free all from sin.
Beyond the dream-scape
He battles big noses in the land
Awake! The King will come again
translucent alive, over the horizon
A backward glance
out of whose dream
the traveller asks her way,
taking a chance.

Refrain: Oh! But the emptiness yet.

verse 3

She anguished for him
Like a rose deeply touched
When her love fell placid.
A cold fantasy, swept in pretty.
A desire rumbled boldly forth
giving her a sudden jolt.
The spiritless stem agonised
for the fragile girl within.
I cried for her too,
For the placidity that engulfed her.
It gave her a soft fire.
A sweet passion, whisperered in her.
The desire stayed placid,
until a deeper fantasy cried out.
Its beautiful misery fell on her like
The captivating sun, shining a delicate flame.

Refrain: Oh! But this emptiness yet.

verse 4

She stands on the edge of space
each portion made of dust.
The wide flat dusty road and
jungles bounded on all sides.
Her kisses caress the grateful sun gently
The tender flower graces the beautiful rose
with exuberant and exquisite hugs.
She chases her own tail -
truths, scratched from the dirt.
forest deer, culled by the road
listen, quiet and still.
Motion, wheeling up high,
trapped in the constellation.

Refrain: Oh! But the emptiness yet.

verse 5

Green, waiting dry grasses,
and neon road bars.
That maybe something,
in the quality of light,
the debris of modernity.
Time claims its victory now.
Each dawn, the broken calls.
Flower petals, diffuse fog,
winged seeds, leaves.
Glory birds, golden and orange,
Scraps of blue paper.
Suburban jets of gas aflame,
Drying paint on native skin,
trapped, in the constellation.

Refrain: Oh! But the emptiness yet.

verse 6

A child cries out from the jungle.
Black fingers and arms
shrouding, shaking
Around, all around....
The shadows gather.
Her dread grows, as doom's scythe
falls against her skin.
It smites her,
and darkly her blood
drips to the swirling dust.
In distress she screams out his name
as oblivion hovers close.
Alone now, her fervent plea
falls upon uncaring ears,
trapped in the constellation.

Refrain: Oh! But the emptiness yet.

Title: 'THE DREAMER' - Poetry and Art

Title: 'THE DREAMER' 33 /C.Penc_Mix  (From Set) by Rev.Bola
The Dreamer
Dreaming in her pallor of gold
lulling them asleep among the foliage;
her sweet madness teeming like sands;
that by starlight,

framed a small branch!

In the wine

of daylight and flower
a trail of mad kisses -
nearest where her star
had wept rose-colour.

In a slumbering alder
hemmed in by chimaeras.
- from violet forests:
and the gaudy lotus tree
a pale street lamp

A small rustle of wings
embroidered with black moss
her great veils rising
and the murmuring waters

but endless

As she was floating down,
in the long violet coagulations,
dropping lichens of sunlight
with low-hanging sun,
she speckled the scented twilight
of pearl skies.

Title: '15 Humorous, Nonsense and Gibberish Poems'

Title:'DREAMSCAPE 6 /Oil - From Set by Rev.Bola < Prints Available For Sale >
1. Above The Dream-scape

All hot under the ground
I condone dream-like wishes
Alas! The end shall flee
Quite sensual is the fog
We poke flying fangs near the elves
Awaken! The passion is good
Strange and tiny against the slime
Your precious olive green envy
Atone! The passion is over
Wavering, grieving
On the edge of the world
A ticking clock
In how many places
A time tracker
Unlearning a past
And trying to remember.
----------------------------------------------
2. All Cut Up

Capricious enticement whispers suggestively,
As stout chivalry languishes bleakly,

Dingy battle-axe usurps caressingly,
As travelled vessel turns abruptly,

Deliberate degeneration watches blankly,
As throbbing laundromat churns fiercely,

Disciplined service sighs undesirably,
As open creationism laughs hysterically,

Agnostic party frowns grimly,
As plastic smile cools mortally,

Sharp vortex points glaringly
As vestigial towel dries sparingly

Vibrant condescension spreads impersonally,
As concrete enticement shrieks expectantly,

Dark chivalry sullies blindly
As uniformed dream, crumbles completely.
------------------------------------------
3. Sleep Creator

"Reflect!" shrieked the lethargic man,
The keeper of Sleeps
Last for the pummeling first for the jabbing
Now we lie!
With lightning strokes,
Rest shot forward;quickly, quickly
Piercing sounds, wails, cries
Briskly, Sleep clawed at the door--
It knew its love awaited behind
Dominating for fabricating swiftly done
Singing of contempt,
Dirt-like dreams were dreamt,
O Sleep what are you?
Down by the babbling brook the robin rests.
The otter explodes in a fit of rage,
Leaving in its wake a litter of crushed nut shells.
----------------------------------------------------------------
4. The Generator

Of  fermented laughter
The wind aches for velvet landscapes.
A wet cave fiddles with the rapture of tentative sorrow.
A red rose ponders the morning's delight.
With frozen ecstasy!
------------------------------------------------------
5. Barnaby I. Lorem

Just the good ol' boys,
Never meanin' no harm.
Beats all you ever saw,
Been in trouble with the law
Since the day they were born.
Straight'nin' the curve, flat'nin' the hills.
Someday the mountain might get 'em,
But the law never will.

Makin' their way, the only way they know how,
That's just a little bit more than the law will allow.
Just good ol' boys, wouldn't change if they could,
Fightin' the system like true modern day Robin Hood.
Barnaby The Bear's him name,
Never call him Jack or James,
He will sing his way to fame,
Barnaby the Bear's his name.
Birds taught him to sing,
When they took him to their king,
First he had to fly, in the sky so high
So high, so high so high so high,
So - if you want to sing this way,
Think of what you'd like to say,
Add a tune and you will see,
Just how easy it can be.
Treacle pudding, fish and chips,
Fizzy drinks and liquorice,
Flowers, rivers, sand and sea,
Snowflakes and the stars are free.
La la la la la, la la la la la la la,
La la la la la la la, la la la la
La la la la la la la la la la....
Barnaby the Bear's his name,
Never call him Jack or James,
He will sing his way to fame,
Barnaby the Bear's his name.
-------------------------------------
 6. Dadada

if
will-- way
harm bit
like some day
but they
the straight'nin'.
boys hood makin'
just all night
the good that's law
been boys
they know--
beats flat'nin'
in system you might
just never: no way
just could get good day
they.
---------------------------------------------
7. Sea Regenerator

Die roughly like a tough cloud.
The reef endures like a warm sun.
Rise quietly like a dead shark.
The small captain tentatively
Commands the seashell.
Waves fall!
Suns travel!
Endurance, life, and love.
-------------------------------------------------
8. Dig On Heretic

More endurance, more life, more love
A song of most omni-sophic stature
The people were flabbergasted
And ran off in droves
So, mask the answer, hide the cure.

I will sing my way to fame,
And look for two more lungs to clog.
This lethal conflict was once just a game
So, why do I still sound like a frog?
-----------------------------------------------
9. Country Western Jibe

He met her in a tree-house wrestling gators;
He can still recall those training pants she wore;
She was smelling kind of funny but he loved her,
And he knew that she would be a crashing bore;
The painters knew he'd play 'Go Fish' forever;
She said to him man wasn't meant to fly;
But who'd have thought she'd turn pink with her guru;
She sealed him in the vault and smirked goodbye.

-------------------------------------
11. At Random

Verse One
Bubble tips quickly over fizzy stick
Screaming for crippled drink
Teapot tips crudely over pink pickle
And,
Pickle tips coolly over hot butter.

Verse Two
Flower shimmers quietly
Near the bushy sky
Growing on silver willow
Cricket shimmers lightly
Beside light grass as
Flower shimmers softly
Down on willow.
---------------------------------------------------
12. The Rising

Girls rise like giant waves.
Reefs grow tall!
The stormy wind
Eagerly commands the sun.
The mast travels like a huge gull.
Enduring eagerly, the ocean bed.

-----------------------------------------------
 13. Carved Out

Carved upon his heart
Is the name of an angel
-whom he'd shed tears for again and again

What amorous magic drives him
To gaze upon her skin,
-more delicate than a kiss at twilight?

His heart is bloodless and empty
Without her angelic voice,
-like gentle song comforting a wild beast

Oh sweet envy of Aphrodite!
Cast thy arrow of love into his heart
And consume it, with the flames of thy passion.
----------------------------------------------
14. A treasured memory

A treasured memory is what
Remains for me to keep
Caress my hand and hold my heart

While our souls approach each other
This essence alone makes love divine—
It is a beauty that let's me catch my breath…
Marry us each day
Your every moment on this Earth.
A something found and lost in the first kiss
Because It still feels like
Dancing butterflies flutter in my chest
I sense the silkiness in the skin of your petals
And let my fingers curl on a stray tress
Power of lanterns mature
Generosity, the language of love
Now fills me with joy
Caress my hand and hold my heart
As her petals open.
Resting comfortably
This dance of love
As every day goes by
I love more about you.
You came to me
And now I hold you
And we walk, those sands of time.
-------------------------------------------------------
 15. Nonsense Love Poem

You are always on my mind
Here you will find my thoughts, outlined
My Nonsense Poet, my dear sweetheart
Let our roads never go apart

My Nonsense Poet,
You are unbelievably beautiful
Not having met you earlier
Makes me feel like a fool
Words cannot express
How you have captured-
This heart with success.

My Nonsense Poet,
You mean so much to me
I never knew this could be
You are my sweetheart day by day
I hope you will never go away

This humor is for you, I hope you will like it
Because to me, you are my biggest hit
I look forward to our next moment together
With you, my poems couldn't be any better.

Title: 'Ah, Blue Crowds!'

Title: 'BLUE CROWDS' 2 /Acryls - by Rev.Bola
Ah, blue crowds!
It is with brave cliffs they shroud,
Freaky sea,
Forget the chancy assess of the quay.
Look at the harmonious,
hilly hair of squeaky pebbles,
Like robust, rainy racket for rebels.

Title: 'Master of Projection'

Master of projection,
you sniggering,
floppy eared
hound.

When courage is
needed,
you're never
around.

Those medals
you wear
on your
moth-eaten
chest

should be there
for bungling
at which
you do best.

So,
stop the
pestering!

Stop your
pestering,
Stop your pestering,

stop the
pestering,.

somehowwww!

Nab it,
jab it,
tab it
grab
it,

just stop the pestering

 now.

Title: 'Dreams'

Dreams swell
nurturing through the night
as do they now
Crescent moons smiling down
while women where masks of
snuffed out candles
and smoky spirals.
Domino people
in black and white, parade
the shell of cracked vinyl
hidden faces against the wind
asking to be taught to kiss.
to laugh to cry; as they
ponder why?
It makes no difference
if its sweet or hot
or melting to a murky brown
or fascinating silvery blue.
Warm streams of light
as balled up fists
reflect the night
A thousand screams,
a thousand pains,
listlessly plotting cause
to strike a match,
in acrid air, acrid rain
For deep within, rage is fear.
Oblivion pervades
the shadows of each
And a microwave pings
the destiny bowl's
first outpourings
Kicking legs up in the air
out to lunch, out to flight
on lonely night.
Getting an itch for life
feeling my toes dancing
to a longer winter
woodland rain invigorating me
I pucker up and bluff more craven
I’m right, you’re right, no need to fight!
just seeking inner sight
and souls that reveal
how lucky we are
to be here, now.

'Nonsense Poetry'

apple glistening softly
near fragrant tree
gently swaying
in luscious blossom

sparrow hovering gently
over tender flower
cherry exuding scents
nearby, young blossom

a yellow flower
bends its petals to the ground
where the sun is shining

Playfully,
in flat waves
regret withers
with blue rocks
some sigh and weep.....

mildew glow worms
key lime, thin beans
sunrise requiem
and angels floating.....

drily moping, hawks tumble,
icicles bleak
 tame shadows
shrewd sheep, bleet

 second keeper
  at the gates, demonstrates
poise, head up.

Steamy presence
open personality
advertising love.

Just pennies a day
so little can do, so much....
for starving funds.

with boundless,
mottled drum
and harpischords, smiling

humbled willowy
bodies prance
gently, swirling, as cute.

earthly adventurers
skilfully plucking at

converting, persuading, exalting,

Title: 'THE SOLDIER'  /F.Oils -  Art by Rev.Bola

Fortunate Soldier
Withdrawing but virtuous
Where loose spirits live.

Pine strong and awkward,
Ascending with the valley;
Lofty, loose blossom
---------------------------------------
Above the thin breeze,
When the eager soldier looks,
the cliff sings; I jump

Strive, spin, with young cliffs
Contend, descend, with far moons
withdrawing; I flow.

Title: 'Heaven's Ecstasy'

Title:'HEAVEN'S ECSTACY' /Oils - Prayer Art by Rev.Bola
HEAVEN'S ECSTACY
The night dwells
On velvet outpourings.
Ah, how a wanderer emanates
Well deserved entertainment!
The ocean lingers in purple delight.
Oh, but the desert weeps
Like frosted sorrow!

A wet cave lingers with
 Laughter of warm dew drops.
Shall not a wanderer wail
With blazen ecstasy?
Eternity blows bubbles of
Steaming spring water.
As the wind calls forth
The delight of our luscious fantasies.

When love fiddles with
Her streaming outcome
Might not the sun
Dance to virtuous repose?
A red rose quivers
In the moonlit lustre.
Ah, but the sunset bravely pines
For the wisdom of the morn.

'Why criticise anything or anyone at all?'

Dear Mother God,
I know I’m here for a reason and I just need the tools and support to take me to the next level.
I am an unstoppable leader and I know I can do it.
I am worthy and I deserve to make millions sharing my unique gift with the world.

Yes I admit I am afraid of trusting humans, I have doubts about them. I don't know whether my fears and doubts are justified, they probably are, but I do know I want to be a millionaire without feeling guilty, ashamed, unworthy, afraid, frustrated, confused, bewildered, doubtful or any of those negative experiences. I ask myself this:-

'What if i never had the capacity within me to criticise anything about reality?' would I not be completely free? so I am willing to give up my need to experience these limiting emotions. What if I relinquished my belief that anything that has ever happened was wrong. I give thanks for this insight.

Peace

'Are You Wasting God's Time?'

What are you doing right at this moment? Just stop and think about it.
Well obviously..... you are reading this article. ((LOL)) But are you doing anything else at the same time, or simultaneously? For example... are you....alone or with company? Are you, at home, at work, in a library, an internet cafe, a pub, a church building, a college, on a train etc....where are you? What activity are you engaged in? Are you talking to someone, reading quietly or out loud, typing or taking notes? If you are with company, what kind of people are around you? If you are engaged in conversation, what are you talking about? Make careful consideration as to whether, the activity with which you are engaged, at this very moment (no matter how big or small), is of value, is worthwhile, constructive or appropriate? More importantly, is this activity loving? joyful? educational or peaceful? Whom or what does it serve? Does it add-to, or diminish, the quality of  life, for yourself or others? Whom or what would benefit from it now or in the future, how and why?

Time is a most precious and valuable asset. Consider for a moment, the many souls  whose lives on earth have just ended, this very instant, as we speak. They have left their bodies, their communities, their closest and dearest, their homes, jobs, families, friends, colleagues, pets, admirers, enemies, hobbies, pastimes, material belongings. They have simply died, having taken their last breath amongst us for this lifetime, never to be seen or heard from, in the same way ever again. Not even the banking system, the persistent debt collectors, or credit card bailiffs, can ever get another payment out of them, no matter what they have owed.
It's now finished! Over!

Life is indeed short my dear friend. Not so long ago, you were but a little embryo in the womb and then a child barely learning to walk, and just starting kindergarten. Now as an adult, you look back in amazement, wondering how all that time has passed. Isn't it amazing how quickly a lifetime goes by, and before you know it you are 65 years of age, and being referred to as an OAP, even though inside you don't feel a day older than 21 years of age!! But whatever your age right now, it's important that you stop a moment, to assess what exactly you are doing with the time you have now, and more importantly what you intend to do with the rest of it in the future. Is your time really yours?

The past is over and gone. Perhaps you have done incredibly well up till now, or maybe you've messed up big time so far. Probably many will find themselves somewhere in the middle, along that spectrum. The fact is, one way or another,  you have made it to this very moment in time, and you are HERE, right now and  present. YOU... are still breathing, and I assume still capable, of conscious thought and emotional responses. You are here, creating your future experiences with whatever it is that you are doing right now. Lets repeat that statement. Whatever you are engaged with right now,( in thought, emotion, passion, word or deed), is actively generating your future, and the day will come when you will experience your last breath here on earth, and will cease to exist, in that body of yours. At that time, it is YOU,  and only you who will be accountable then, (as you are now), for how you used your time.

So at this present moment, do the thoughts you are thinking, the words you are saying, the actions you are taking, benefit you and/or others, in any way, or do they cause harm? Those daily activities and habits that we often take for granted, all add up. Even simple things like doing the washing up, smiling at the neighbor across the road, turning up to an important appointment on time, keeping that promise you made, sending that get well card to cheer someone up 'who is recovering from an illness, answering a client's questions patiently over the phone, telling someone only the truth about a product or service you are selling, giving extra care and attention to the newcomer who is having difficulty settling in, counting to 10 rather than making that hurtful remark, suspending blame or judgement towards another, refusing to participate in backstabbing or gossip mongering, saying sorry when a mistake has been made and making amends for it, paying someone a well deserved compliment, forgiving an indiscretion, etc...etc..etc....Whichever activity you may be engaged in right now, the point is this; how much, and to whom will it matter in 8 months, 8 years or even 80 years time? If the actions of the present are what generate the experiences of the future, then it is important enough that you have a satisfactory answer to the following questions....

What are you doing with your time right now? What are you presently focussed on, and how valuable is it? Is there anything you are not saying or not doing, which you could be saying or doing, that would be of benefit? And is there anything you are saying or doing right now, that you need not be, because it is harmful, a waste of time, or of very little importance or value? Finally the most important question of all, how much will this activity you are engaged in now matter, and will it count for anything, when you are dead?

'Great Quotes'

Favourite Quote no1*
'There's a lot of skeletons in my closet, but I know what they are wearing. I'm not gonna act all ashamed of it'
-Naomi Watts

Rev.Bola's commentary
Do we still have things from our past that we keep revisiting? Old, tired, worn out ideas, mistakes, memories that haunt us? Well we also have the freedom to let go off them. When we recognise that part of the purpose of life on earth, is to learn by our mistakes; then we are able to exercise our forgiveness of the past, and to also be grateful, that we actually made it to be where we are today. The past was never meant to hold us back, or keep us in bondage. Let us be set free today by letting go of the past, and living our lives fully in the present moment, as much as possible. Our present situations really do need our undivided attention.

---------------------------------------------------

Favourite Quote no2*
'There is no ''fix'' that's good enough for everyone. Do you know what feeds your spirit?'
-Anne Wilson Schaef

Rev.Bola's commentary
We really are individuals, and often require very different things to others. We can let ourselves be who we are and allow others that freedom also. One man's tastes may be very different to another's, that does not mean that either of them is in the wrong. It is vital that we keep our discernment of what is right or wrong for us, and yet refrain from passing judgement on others, concerning what they believe is right for them.
----------------------------------------------------------

Favourite Quote no3*
'Sometimes the big picture just looks too big, We need to break down our tasks into little pieces and do one step at a time. Who can take two steps at a time anyway?
-Anne Wilson Schaef

Rev.Bola's commentary
I learnt something very valuable from the 12 step recovery movement, started by Alcoholics Anonymous. Though I am not, and have never been an alcoholic, I indeed have suffered, from the harmful effects of another's alcoholism and other addictive behaviours, and I have also myself been in recovery from co-dependency. One principle that really enhanced my spiritual recovery, was the reality that no task or achievement is too great, when it is broken down into manageable portions. The premise being to tackle and focus on just one little bit at a time.

Giving up cigarette smoking was one of the toughest addictions I ever had to overcome. I managed it quite successfully however, by applying the simple principle of a little bit at a time, one day at a time. This really is a miraculous principle equally as powerful as that of the Secret or The Law of Attraction. If you don't believe me, just watch ants at work creating an ant hill; and if you still are of the mistaken belief, that little things don't matter, consider the mosquito! I have had the good fortune of spending some time in Africa, in areas where mosquitoes are rampant, and malaria fever is a regular part of life. So I have personal experience of exactly what a mosquito can accomplish, and what a bite from a mosquito can create.

Love and Light always
